Ladival Sun Spray SPF15 is the lowest-factor sun protection provided by Ladival. While factor 15 protection is also available in lotion form, this spray makes it convenient and easy to apply anywhere.
With a slightly different formula to the lotion, it nevertheless has all the same benefits as its sister product.
Just like the Ladival Sun Lotion SPF15, this spray does not contain many of the potentially harmful irritants that most of the common sunscreens include: no fats, colorants, preservatives, fragrances, parabens, or PEG emulsifiers.
As caution must be exercised when considering products for people with dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis, this product is of advantage as it has minimal risk of irritating even very sensitive skin.
Ladival Sun Spray SPF15 is also broader spectrum than many other sun protection products. On top of filtering out UV-A and UV-B rays, all Ladival sun products incorporate a protection system (IR-D Infrared Defence™) that also protects against Infrared-A rays that are known to be damaging to the skin.
Infrared-A makes up 30 percent of the sun’s total rays, while UV-A and UV-B account for 7 percent. Infrared-A also has the power to penetrate deep into the skin layers and, for this reason, can be extremely harmful.
While this product offers SPF 15 sun protection and can potentially protect the skin from the sun’s radiation 15 times longer than no protection, remember that protection strength also depends on other factors: notably, your skin type, what your activities are (swimming, running, sitting), and the level of the sun’s UV index on the given day.
This spray is non-greasy, easy to apply, and quickly absorbed by the skin. While it is water-resistant and offers protection, it should be reapplied frequently during the day.
The Ladival Sun Spray SPF15 ingredients are:
C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate
Phenylbenzimidazole sulfonic acid
Diethylhexyl butamido triazone
Vitis Vvnifera seed extract
Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl acrylate crosspolymer
Sodium acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP crosspolymer
Apply plenty of the product onto the skin 15-20 minutes before going out in the sun. Smooth it onto all areas that will be exposed to the sun.
Reapply it after being in the water to ensure that you remain fully protected, especially after towelling dry.
Use Ladival Sun Spray SPF15 externally only and take care when using on the face to avoid contact with the eyes.
Before using this product, check ingredients for potential allergies. In the event of a skin reaction, stop using the spray and consult your doctor if symptoms do not ease.
Ladival Sun Spray SPF15 is not associated with any side effects.
