La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel is a foaming wash designed for combination or oily skin. It can be used either as a facial cleanser or as an all-over body wash.
For people with oily, acne-prone skin, it is important to use a cleanser that does not aggravate the condition or leave the skin feeling dry, but instead helps to address the cause of the problem.
Excess sebum can lead to clogged pores and spot formation. This water-soluble gel foams and cleanses, eliminating excess sebum and skin impurities without drying out the skin, leaving it feeling cleaner and fresher. It is well tolerated and suitable for sensitive skin.
As well as soothing La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water, it contains Zinc PCA, which helps to neutralise sebum production.
This cleanser is hypoallergenic and free of parabens and soap, unlike many commonly used cleansers.
The ingredients in La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel are:
Sodium laureth sulphate
PEG-120 methyl glucose dioleate
If using on the face, first wet your hands and work a small amount of the gel into a lather. Then massage it into the face with gentle motions of the hand. Afterwards, rinse well with warm water and pat gently dry.
This can be repeated daily, in the morning and evening, and the gel can also be used in the bath or shower as a body wash.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel is for external use. Avoid contact with the eyes. Rinse out with clean water in the event of accidental contact.
Keep this product out of the sight and reach of children.
Check the list of ingredients before use. If you are allergic to any of them, refrain from use. If you experience unexpected skin irritation, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel is free of known side effects. It does not interact with other medicinal products.
