Freederm Fast Track spot gel is made in the UK and formulated to work quickly on fighting spots and redness.
Like most Freederm products, this gel contains niacinamide as its main active ingredient. This is a vitamin that is found in many foods, as well as skincare products. It is not to be confused with nicotinic acid (niacin), which can cause the skin to flush.
Niacinamide is claimed clinically-proven to reduce inflamed red spots. This is because of its anti-inflammatory properties.
Freederm Fast Track gel claims ‘3-hour results’ due to the presence of niacinamide. It is combined in the gel with minimal other ingredients.
This spot gel is free of many of the types of chemicals that are commonly found in skincare products in the UK, such as parabens and fragrances. These can have a drying effect on skin or can irritate sensitive skin.
If you have a breakout and need quick, visible results, this gel may help reduce the severity of the spots. It should also help to soothe the irritation associated with acne.
However, it may be best to also treat the underlying causes of the acne so that your skin looks and feels healthier in the long term. Speak to your skin specialist or other medical professional for advice on cleansers, exfoliators, moisturisers, and other medicinal treatments.
The Freederm Fast Track ingredients are:
