Red skin

Fight red and sore psoriasis - Red patches with various degrees of silvery build up of scales is typical for psoriatic lesions. These are most commonly located on the scalp, elbows and knees and lower back. They can crack and bleed, and are often painful and itchy.

Skin redness comes from increasing blood flow to the affected areas. This is the body's immune system trying to nurture the skin.

Applying moist through use of emollients can help alleviate these symptoms.
